Already, but not yet

Sorry for dropping off of the face of the earth, but I haven't really been motivated to post. Other than a Millen rant, I haven't posted since before Christmas. I didn't post in January because I was too busy at the beginning of the month with J-Term. I didn't post in January because I did not want to at the end of the month due to too many memories. I was in a funk for the few weeks around the 28th, which is the anniversary of my dad's death. Since we started the new semester, I just haven't had anything I wanted to share. Then we had to get ready for the internship matching interviews, and study on what churches we wanted to interview with in order to possibly spend our internship year with them. That's done, now it's onto trying to get caught back up. While I still have 3 months to go in the semester, and probably a couple after that before I pack up and go vicar-ing, I already feel a disconnect to life here at The LTS. People More Qualified Than Matt Millen

NBC hired Matt Millen as a "Football Expert" for their play-off coverage. Mr. Millen drove the Detroit Lions franchise from mediocrity into being a global laughingstock. Having Matt Millen commenting on championship football is worse than: * Oprah commenting on maintaining a steady weight. * Al Gore commenting on being care-free and relaxed. * Sarah Palin giving elocution lessons on words ending in "g." * Memphis coach John Calapari giving lessons in free throw shooting. * GW Bush teaching how to "be a uniter, not a divider." * Bernie Madoff lecturing on honest investment schemes. * Paris Hilton on making it on your own. * Dick Cheney talking about open government. WDIV in Detroit ran a crawl below Millen whenever he spoke on the telecast. God Bless 'em!
