Please Pray For Us

I've been silent for a while, and will be silent for longer still.
My parents were in a car accident last week, and my father passed away last night.
Please pray for my mother and my family.

thank you

I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing right now. I give thanks to God for the life and witness of your Dad and for the wonderful love he shared with those in his midst. I pray that our Lord will comfort and sustain you and your family, for healing for your Mom, and that you will find peace and strength for the days ahead in the knowledge of Resurrection victory, and love and support of family and friends.
((0)). This all seems so inadequate to say- email if there is anything I can do. Praying hard.+

Brian: All of us here in the LTSG Community love and admire you and mourn with you as you mourn. Words are inadequate, but as I said last night, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and you are not alone.

You don't know me; I was directed here by Law and Gospel. As a 50-something seminarian with many family responsibilities who lost mother and brother to a car accident when I was a child, I have some idea of the anguish you are experiencing, and I know well what a solitary and confusing road grief creates. I am praying already for your mother's full recovery and for all of you as you deal with the terrible loss of your father and the reconfigured life ahead of you. May the presence of God be wrapped around you in comfort and solace.

Oh, Coach. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Please know that another seminarian a thousand miles away is praying for you and your mom. I know that there is absolutely nothing I can say to make you feel better, but please know that my empathy goes out to you. Peace, in your own time, my friend.
